Spoiler warning — this is the finale. The page names the MI6 setting, all 16 challenges, every collectible location and the Damien boss fight, and a clearly marked Ending section spoils how the story resolves (including a major character beat). Grab what you need from the challenge and collectible sections and skip the Ending block if you want the cutscenes cold.

Official · IO Interactive

007 First Light For England is the seventeenth and final mission — the finale, set inside MI6 HQ in London as the building comes under attack. Most players reach the 007 First Light For England mission for one of three reasons: they want to finish the chapter cleanly, mop up the last collectibles before the point of no return, or clear the 16 challenges that round out completion. This page keeps all three on one screen.

First, a disambiguation, because the guides disagree: in the in-game chapter-select For England is Mission 17, the finale — the chapter straight after the Antarctica mission Wave of the Future. A few walkthroughs label it 'Chapter 10' using their own main-mission-only numbering; we follow the in-game order, so wherever you see 'Chapter 10 For England' elsewhere, it is this same final mission.

Where competitors split For England across separate challenge and collectible pages — and some miscount the challenges at 15 — we unify the finale: a tick-off list of all 16 challenges, every collectible with its exact pickup, the two-phase Damien boss fight, and a spoiler-gated note on how it all ends. Counts we cannot verify cleanly are flagged, never invented.

007 First Light The Damien Boss Fight

The 007 First Light For England finale ends on a two-phase fight against Damien, and two of the mission's challenges live inside it. Here is each phase and the challenge tied to it, step by step — story spoilers kept to the Ending section below.

Damien boss fight — Phase 1 (the jammer)

single source
Fire in the Hole!

Damien opens the fight behind a jamming device that blocks a direct approach. Phase one is about disabling it the controlled way rather than rushing in, which is also how you bank the 'Fire in the Hole!' challenge.

  1. Stay back from Damien's position and read the room before committing — the jammer keeps a straight assault from working.
  2. Use proximity hacking to disable the device and open Damien up, instead of trying to shoot through the jam.
  3. Keep to proximity hacking only for this phase to clear the 'Fire in the Hole!' challenge.

Clears 'Fire in the Hole!' and moves the fight into its second phase.

Honest note — The two-phase structure and the proximity-hack method are itemised by the challenge guides; we keep the steps general rather than frame-by-frame.

Damien boss fight — Phase 2 (the turret)

single source
Turret Aficionado

Phase two puts a turret in play. Getting on it fast is both how you break Damien down and how you clear the 'Turret Aficionado' challenge.

  1. Move to the first turret as soon as the phase opens rather than trading fire on foot.
  2. Pour turret fire into Damien — landing turret damage on him is the win condition for this phase.
  3. Do it quickly: damaging Damien with that first turret in under two minutes clears 'Turret Aficionado'.

Clears 'Turret Aficionado' and ends the boss fight.

Honest note — Under-two-minutes is the threshold the itemised challenge guides give; exact turret placement varies by guide, so follow the on-screen prompt for the nearest one.

007 First Light For England Collectible Locations

There are six named collectibles to grab on the 007 First Light For England route through MI6 HQ — three playing cards, the MI6 Postcard, one intel item and one memento. We give each by name and type with its exact pickup, in the order you pass them from the opening corridors to the Q-Lab.

Sources differ — Push Square itemises six; some round-ups head the section nine. We publish the six we can place by name and treat 6–9 as the honest spread rather than padding to a round number.

Named list and pickup locations follow Push Square, which itemises six for the finale — we publish that as the working set and quote each location as written.

For England Mission Challenges & Rewards

The 007 First Light For England finale carries 16 challenges across pacifist, stealth and full-combat play — the joint-highest count in the game. Tick each one off as you clear it: progress saves to this browser only. We name all 16 (some competitors miscount at 15 by dropping the Completionist tag) and keep them on the same page as the walkthrough and collectibles.

16 challenges★ Reward — The itemised guides don't name a unique outfit for clearing every For England challenge — the 'Completionist' tag simply confirms the full set is done — so we don't assert a costume reward; they count toward overall game completion.

For England Mission FAQ

Is For England the last mission in 007 First Light?

[ + ]

Yes. 007 First Light For England is Mission 17 of 17 — the finale — set at MI6 HQ in London as the building comes under attack. It follows directly after the penultimate mission, Wave of the Future, in Antarctica. Completing it rolls the credits and unlocks the final campaign trophy.

Is For England Chapter 10 or Chapter 17?

[ + ]

Both labels point to the same finale. In the in-game chapter-select, For England is the 17th and final mission. Some walkthroughs number it 'Chapter 10' using a main-mission-only count that ignores the interludes. We follow the in-game order, so '007 First Light For England' is always the final mission no matter which numbering a guide uses.

How many challenges does For England have in 007 First Light?

[ + ]

For England has 16 challenges — the joint-highest in the game. They span pacifist, stealth and combat, and include the four meta tags (Completionist, Pacifist, Ghost, Assault) plus specific tasks like Reduce Your Screen Time (destroy 50 monitors), Apex Predator (stealth-clear the security room) and the two boss challenges, Fire in the Hole! and Turret Aficionado. Some round-ups print 15 by dropping the Completionist tag; the in-game total is 16.

How many collectibles are in 007 First Light For England?

[ + ]

Push Square itemises six named collectibles on the For England route: three playing cards (King of Bells, Ace of Shields, 8 of Bells), the MI6 Postcard, the Wallet intel and the Dashboard Toy memento. Some round-ups head the section nine, so we publish the six we can place by name and treat 6–9 as the honest spread rather than asserting a single disputed number.

How do you beat Damien at the end of 007 First Light?

[ + ]

The Damien boss fight is two phases. In phase one he hides behind a jamming device — use proximity hacking to disable it rather than shooting through the jam (sticking to proximity hacking also clears the 'Fire in the Hole!' challenge). In phase two a turret comes into play: get on the first turret fast and pour fire into Damien — landing that turret damage in under two minutes clears 'Turret Aficionado' and ends the fight.

How does 007 First Light end? (spoilers)

[ + ]

Major spoiler: in the For England finale Moneypenny exposes that 'Charlotte Roth' is a stolen identity, and during the confrontation over THEIA — the AI superweapon at the heart of the plot — its core changes hands and Moneypenny is stabbed by Damien. Bond stops the threat and is pulled from the water, and the game flashes forward, closing out his first outing as a fully fledged Double-O and unlocking the final trophy.

Where does For England fall in the 007 First Light mission order?

[ + ]

For England is the 17th and final mission of 007 First Light. It comes immediately after Wave of the Future (Mission 16, Antarctica) and is the last chapter in the in-game order. You can see the full mission list and order, with a completion tracker, on the missions guide.
