Spoiler warning — this page names the London nightclub setting, the two A Night Out collectibles and the mission's celebrity cameos. It stays light on story beats, so you can grab the locations and skip the rest if you want to go in cold.

007 First Light A Night OutMission Guide

Official · IO Interactive

007 First Light A Night Out is the sixth chapter in the game and its big nightclub set-piece: an MI6 field test that drops you onto a packed London dance floor while Chase & Status play live and a quiet information exchange goes down in the crowd. Unlike the heavier main missions, 007 First Light A Night Out is a short interlude — there are no safe codes and no challenge list — which is exactly why most players who search for it arrive looking for two specific things.

This 007 First Light A Night Out guide puts both of those things on one page. You get the precise location of each of the two A Night Out collectibles, the celebrity cameos the mission is famous for — JackSepticEye on the door and Chase & Status on the decks — and a straight answer to the question that sends people round in circles: why A Night Out has no challenges at all.

We also clear up the chapter-numbering confusion. In the in-game chapter-select, 007 First Light A Night Out is Chapter 6; a handful of walkthroughs still label it 'Chapter 2' from an earlier ordering. It is the same London nightclub mission either way, and everything below is drawn from multiple A Night Out walkthroughs rather than a single source.

If you have played IO Interactive's stealth games, the A Night Out nightclub will feel familiar: dancing crowds, strobing lights, a long bar, a VIP lounge upstairs and several routes through. You can blend in, bluff the staff, pickpocket and sneak — and both A Night Out collectibles are reachable on a normal first run without any gadget.

Why the A Night Out Mission Has No Challenges or Codes

A Night Out is one of 007 First Light's eight interludes — the shorter story chapters that sit between the nine challenge-driven main missions. That classification is why this page has no codes table and no challenge checklist: across every A Night Out walkthrough we checked, the mission carries no challenge objectives and no safe combinations to crack, so there is genuinely nothing to list. If you have been searching 'A Night Out challenges' and coming up empty, that is the reason.

The other thing worth settling is the number. The in-game chapter-select calls this mission Chapter 6, and that is the number we use; a few older walkthroughs label the same London nightclub mission 'Chapter 2'. Same club, same Chase & Status set, same two collectibles — only the heading differs.

007 First Light A Night Out Collectible Locations

There are just two collectibles to grab in the 007 First Light A Night Out mission, and both are confirmed across the A Night Out collectible guides we checked. Neither needs a gadget, so you can pick up both on your first walk through the nightclub if you know where to look.

Both 007 First Light A Night Out walkthroughs we cross-checked — Push Square and games.gg — list the same two pickups and the same total, so this is a clean multi-source count. There is no disputed number here, unlike some of the bigger missions.

Cameos & Easter Eggs in the A Night Out Mission

A Night Out is the cameo mission of 007 First Light — the nightclub chapter people screenshot and share. Two appearances are impossible to miss, and one of them you actually have to walk up to as part of the route upstairs.

  • Chase & StatusThe live DJs

The drum-and-bass duo appear as themselves, headlining the club from the DJ stage. Their set scores the entire A Night Out dance floor while you work the crowd — and the stage they play on is exactly where the second collectible, the Ober of Bells card, sits up on the lighting rig.

  • JackSepticEyeVIP-lounge doormansingle source

The YouTuber plays the staff member working the guest list for the upstairs VIP lounge. After the restroom fight, find him at the counter on the first set of stairs to the right, opposite the toilets — you talk to him to get the stamp you need to head upstairs. The face and voice are unmistakable.

Honest note — Other big 007 First Light cameos — Shroud and Khaby Lame — turn up in different missions (The Past Never Dies and Time to Die), not in A Night Out, so we don't list them here.

A Night Out Mission FAQ

How many collectibles are in A Night Out in 007 First Light?

[ + ]

There are two collectibles in the 007 First Light A Night Out mission: a Memento (the Cocktail Napkin, behind the nightclub bar) and a Playing Card (the Ober of Bells, on the lighting rig above the DJ stage). Both A Night Out collectible guides we checked agree on the same two pickups, and neither one needs a gadget — you can grab both on a normal first run through the club.

Does A Night Out have any challenges?

[ + ]

No. A Night Out is one of the interludes in 007 First Light, and unlike the main missions it has no challenge list and no all-challenge reward. None of the A Night Out walkthroughs we checked list a single challenge objective for it, which is also why there are no safe codes to find. If you want challenge-heavy missions, look at neighbours like Uninvited or Knightfall instead.

Who are the cameos in the A Night Out nightclub?

[ + ]

Two cameos stand out in the 007 First Light A Night Out nightclub. Chase & Status appear as themselves, DJing the live set on the club's main stage, and JackSepticEye plays the doorman working the guest list for the upstairs VIP lounge — you find him at the counter on the first set of stairs to the right, opposite the restrooms. Other famous cameos like Shroud and Khaby Lame appear in different missions, not in A Night Out.

Is A Night Out Chapter 2 or Chapter 6 in 007 First Light?

[ + ]

It is Chapter 6 in the in-game chapter-select, and that is the number this guide uses. Some walkthroughs label the same London nightclub mission 'Chapter 2' from an older ordering, which causes a lot of the confusion when people search for A Night Out. It is the same mission — same club, same Chase & Status set, same two collectibles — regardless of the chapter number on the page you are reading.

How long is the A Night Out mission?

[ + ]

A Night Out runs roughly 23 minutes on a first playthrough, though that figure comes from a single source and your time will vary with how much of the nightclub you explore and whether you stop for both collectibles and the cameos. As a short interlude it is one of the quicker chapters in 007 First Light, well below the length of the big main missions.

Do I need the Laser Strap or any gadget for A Night Out collectibles?

[ + ]

No. Neither of the two A Night Out collectibles needs the Laser Strap or any other gadget. The Cocktail Napkin is reached by bluffing or darting the bartender to get behind the bar, and the Ober of Bells card is reached by climbing the lighting rig behind the DJs — both are doable on a standard run, so nothing here is gated behind equipment like it is in The Past Never Dies.
